The University of Montevallo women’s soccer team dominated possession and held Christian Brothers University to just two shots on goal in a match Sept. 16, but it was not enough as the Buccaneers scored the lone goal of the contest to down the Falcons 1-0.

The Falcons (2-4) outshot the Bucs 17-6 and had eight shots on goal compared to Christian Brother’s two.

Christian Brother’s goalkeeper Robyn Wade made eight saves in the shutout. The Buccaneers’ lone goal came from Allison Tutt who scored at the 26:36 mark on a cross from Alex Bickenbach.

Sophomore Kaitlin Thomas took home the loss in goal as she made one save.

The Falcons will be back in action Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. as they travel to Georgia College for a Peach Belt Conference contest.
