The University of Montevallo men’s cross country team continues to rewrite the school’s record book as two runners broke the record time in an 8K, while two other runners broke into the top 10 in individual standings Sept. 17 at the USC-Aiken Bridgestone-Pacer Collegiate Invitational.

Montevallo, which was one of four Peach Belt Conference teams at the event, finished fourth in the men’s team standings. The Falcons finished ahead of Francis Marion University while trailing Augusta State University and Flagler College.

Freshman Zackery Walsh and sophomore Aaron Bush, a Shelby County High School graduate, led the Falcons as they each bested the Montevallo record, which was set last season by current sophomore Mark McDonald.
