The Pelham High School volleyball team edged Mountain Brook 27-29, 25-21, 15-25, 25-23, 15-11 in high school volleyball action Sept. 20.

Porsha Tolbert led the Panthers (22-12) with 15 kills in the victory. Tolbert also recorded 21 digs.

Dana Allen added 14 kills. Alexis Veal contributed 16 digs. Sydney Days registered 12 digs and a team-high 46 assists in the match.
