The Evangel Christian School volleyball team swept the Tuscaloosa Home Educators 25-7, 25-13, 25-7 in high school volleyball action Sept. 20.

Kierson McGriff led the Lightning with 11 kills in the victory. McGriff also recorded seven digs and one service ace.

Elizabeth Ragland, Erica Williams and Anna Byers contributed four kills each. Ragland also posted six digs and a team-high 13 service aces. Williams finished with six service aces. Byers contributed two digs and a service ace.

Kate Foster, who had eight service aces, six digs and 11 assists, and Bethany Letson finished with one kill each. Ali Wren posted one service ace and two digs.

Erin Morris also registered 11 assists in the match.
