Evangel Christian School swept rival Hope Christian School 25-5, 25-7, 25-11 in an Alabama Christian Sports Conference match Sept. 22.

Kierson McGriff led the Lightning (15-2) with nine kills in the victory. McGriff also recorded four service aces and a team-high 14 digs.

Erica Williams recorded six kills, four service aces and one dig. Elizabeth Ragland added five kills and five digs to go along with a team-high eight service aces. Kate Foster chipped in four kills, two digs and a team-high 14 assists.

Anna Byers recorded two kills, four digs and five service aces. Erin Morris registered two service aces, four digs and seven assists. Bethany Letson finished with one service ace. Ali Wren posted two digs.

Joelle Reed led Hope Christian (4-7) with one kill in the match. Reed also posted one service ace.

Lindy Walker, Teenie Donlin and Emma Boggan recorded one service ace each. King finished with one assist.
