The Thompson High School volleyball team split a pair of matches with Clay-Chalkville and Mountain Brook in high school volleyball action Sept. 27.

The Warriors defeated Clay-Chalkville.

Katie Guiser led the Warriors with six kills in the victory.

Jade Douglas added five kills and six digs. Hailey Schatz posted five kills and two digs.

Kasie Holcombe finished with five digs. Sonia Acosta registered a team-high 10 assists in the match.

Thompson fell to Mountain Brook 13-25, 14-25.

Douglas led the Warriors with four kills in the match. Douglas also posted five digs.

Holcombe chipped in four digs. Acosta contributed a team-high seven assists.
