Carrie W. Martin, age 87, a resident of Columbiana, died on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. John Willis officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Martin is a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Martin. She is survived by her son, Thomas Wayne Martin (Joyce); daughter, Martha Martin Oakes (Kyle); grandson, Greg Oakes; granddaughter, Charity Martin Morris (Philip); great-grandchildren, Wally and Molly Morris; brothers, Grover Williams and Leon Williams; sisters, Annie Hudson and Sarah Tidwell; and other family and friends.
