Chargers fall on road at Jackson Academy

Cornerstone Christian School fell to Jackson Academy 47-6 in an Alabama Independent Schools Association Class 1A, Region 1 game Sept. 30.

Adrian Young scored the lone touchdown in the game for the Chargers with 10 seconds remaining in the first half.

“We didn’t play well and (Jackson Academy) played really well,” said Cornerstone Christian coach Tim Smith.

The Chargers will host Meadowview Christian in a non-region game Oct. 7.
