Dear Editor,

I have been a resident of this county for over a decade and like most things associated with it.

As a businessman I am deeply disappointed that the Commission would do the legal dirty work for outside agitators by filing the voting rights case.

As any quick search of the world media shows, today Shelby County is being drug through the mud with negative publicity from this case.

Creating jobs and bringing in new business is hard enough in this economy without added problems that could make potential job creators think it would be better to go elsewhere.

Commission, I just don’t think you thought it through before getting involved with this mess.
