Benjamin “Pop” Franklin Talley, 69, of Columbiana passed away on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born Monday, June 1, 1942 to the late Theodore “Captain” Talley and Josephine Worthington “Honey” Talley.

Pop was survived by his daughter, Karre Self (Duane) of Columbiana; his sons, William David Talley of Cullman; Patrick Lee Talley (Edward Roland) of Birmingham; Stephen DeWayne Talley Sr. (Leann) of Fultondale; grandchildren, Austin James Talley, Ashlyn Jade Talley, Savannah Brooke Self, Stephen DeWayne Talley, Jr., DeAnna Talley, Jonathan Vance Talley, Bridgett Michele Self, Micheal Dwayne Self, Kimberly Ann Self, and great-grandson, Landon Bryce Robinson.
