Mary Ellen Cox, age 77, a resident of Columbiana, died on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Era Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Cox, and sons, David Cox and William Cox. She is survived by her children, Debra Ellison (Tony), Steve Cox (Debra), Ronnie Cox (Tammy) and Robert Cox; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; mother, Vonzelle Moore; sisters, Dean Benson and Agnes Pool; and other nieces, nephew, family and friends.
