Ledgeway is in the midst of a 507 minute shutout streak. He is currently sitting in second in the Falcons’ record book and needs just seven more scoreless minutes to take the record at Montevallo.

Ledgeway began the week with a 1-0 shutout of No. 13 Clayton State. He made four saves, including a diving stop on a well-time header by the Clayton State offense. He then made four saves in a 2-0 shutout of No. 11 Lander University. Ledgeway currently leads the Peach Belt Conference in saves with 45 and goals against average with a 0.72 average.

O’Neill and the Montevallo back line also played a role in the two shutouts of top-15 opponents last week. The Falcons have not allowed a goal since Sept. 24 in the 53rd minute against North Georgia. Currently, it’s the third longest scoreless streak in Montevallo men’s soccer history and 117 minutes from the school record. The Falcons, who are ranked No. 21 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, return to action Saturday, Oct. 15 on the road at Francis Marion University.
