Billy Mack Brand, 79 of Columbiana died on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen D. Brand, and his mother, Nola Butler. Billy was born Aug. 10, 1932 in Talledega County.

He is survived by his sons, Alan Brand (Marie) of Columbiana, Todd Brand and Scot Brand, both of Hoover; sister, Joella Kirkland of Sylacauga ; grandchildren, Nikki Carroll (Robert), Shane Brand, Kevin Brand (April), Joseph Brand (Jennifer), Kali Brand and Kaci Brand; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Billy’s visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with his funeral service following at 1 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. Interment was at Nabors Cemetery. Brother Mike Byers officiated. Charter Funeral Home.
