Thomas and Durrette “Dee” Patterson of Alabaster are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Patterson, to Corey Kitchens of Albertville, son of Steve Kitchens and Kristy Lesley of Alabaster.

The wedding took place Sept. 18, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Magnolia Springs Manor in Helena.

The bride is the granddaughter of Betty Clemons and the late Enoch Clemons and the late Tom and Donna Patterson. She graduated from Thompson High School and attended the University of Alabama.

The groom is the grandson of Lynn McCombs and the late Sandra Dodd and Sara Kitchens and the late James Kitchens. He graduated from Douglas High School and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Bridal attendants were Emily Patterson, Melody Tomlinson, Amber Wilder and Natalie Bonner. The bride carried red roses sprinkled with white star-like stephanotis. The bride’s maids and mothers carried red roses with stems wrapped in Houndstooth ribbon. The bride wore a strapless, soft white ball gown with a ruched bodice accented at the waist by a beautiful pearl brooch and a chapel train skirt created by tiers of soft, flowing organza. She wore a figure tip veil embellished with pearls and accessorized by a pearl comb. The bridesmaids wore black satin, knee-length dresses of different styles.

Groom attendants were Jeremy Lindsey, Gene Bradley, Blake Rhoades and Chris Speaks. The bride and groom honeymooned in Talum, Mexico, and will live in Chicago.
