CHELSEA – FCCLA — Family, Career, Community Leaders of America — is sponsoring Chelsea High School’s annual Parenting Day Oct. 20.

The Parenting Day mission is to get CHS parents and students actively working together in their community, and to help parents stay aware of certain situations and conditions in the community affect the lives of local parents and teens.

This year, FCCLA will be teaming up with the American Red Cross and hosting a community-wide blood drive. The community is invited to come to Chelsea High School and hear from a representative from the American Red Cross. Attendees can also donate blood to the American Red Cross after the presentation from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chelsea High School Auditorium.
