Lois Wilcox Burnett, age 91, a resident of Shelby, died on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Brasher officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Garden of Rest. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelby.

Mrs. Burnett is preceded in death by her husband, Josh Burnett, and an infant daughter, Ruby Faye Burnett. She is survived by her nieces, Betty Rose Higgins and Peggy Sue House; nephew, Roy Eugene Hamilton; great niece, Beverly Ann Higgins; great nephews, Lee House, Adam House and Rodney Hamilton; great-great nephew, John Headley and his wife Stephanie Headley; and other family and friends.
