Joseph “Joe” W. Stephens, 81, of Montevallo passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his wife, Lulla Mae Stephens, and son, Greg Stephens. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Lucas (Thomas); and grandson, Adam Stephens, both of Montevallo. He was a charter member of Christian Mission, Montevallo.

Visitation was held at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday evening, Oct. 29, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were at the chapel, Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Bass officiating.
