Genery’s Gap

Memorial services will be held for William T. “Big Bill” Ross of Genery’s Gap, Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 210 Lacey Ave, Alabaster.

Mr. Ross leaves behind two sons, Joel Ross of Memphis, Tenn., and Jason Ross of Adamsville; a daughter, Jennifer Vick of Childersburg; six brothers, Donald Ross of Carrollton, Ga., Ralph Ross of Jemison, Ray Ross of East Point, Ga., Doug Ross of Monroe, Ga., Eugene Ross of Montevallo and Tim Ross of Calera. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, O. B. and Maybelle Ross; his sister, Doris; and his beloved wife, Barbara Charlene Allen.
