Helen Pate “Goodie” Brasher, age 85, a resident of Shelby, died on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana with Rev. Tom Minor officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Garden of Rest. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Brasher is preceded in death by her husband, Alton “Jack” Brasher; sons, Harry and Steve Brasher; and a granddaughter, Autumn Brasher. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Crowe (Raymond); son, Barry Brasher (Becky); grandchildren, Robin Brasher (Sandy), Kristie Brasher, Denna Brown (Johnny), Cory Crowe (Tammi), Dawn Makofski (Jeff), Brandon Jackson (Heather) and Jonathan Brasher; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Dottie Estock (Bill); and other family and friends.
