Oct. 27

-Domestic investigation from the 4000 block of Chesapeake Circle W. (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 6500 block of Highway 47 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Miscellaneous information from the 1100 block of Lakewood Drive (residence, home), Westover.

-Missing person from the 5000 block of Caldwell Mill Road (school, college), Indian Springs.

-Harassment from the 1000 block of Inverness Corners (parking lot, garage), Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Gable Lane (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Harassing communications from the 4700 block of Highway 22 (residence, home), Montevallo.

 

Oct. 28

-Burglary from the 12000 block of Highway 11 (parking lot, garage), Chelsea. Stolen were two steel coils (100 pounds each) valued at $400 and scrap pieces of copper valued at $400.

-Public intoxication and license to carry pistol concealed on person from 16725 U.S. 280 at the Kangaroo gas station, Chelsea. Recovered were a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380, a magazine clip and seven rounds of ammunition.

-Civil dispute from 16725 at the Kangaroo gas station, Chelsea. Stolen was a taxi cab fee of $36.50.

-Harassing communications from the 12000 block of County Road 43 (residence, home), Vandiver.

-Theft of property from 5650 Cahaba Valley Road (Oak Mountain Middle School), Birmingham. Stolen was an I-Phone AG in a black protective case valued at $744.96.

-Promoting prison contraband III from 380 McDow Road (Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Jail), Columbiana. Recovered were 19 Unisom sleep gels.

-Death investigation from the 300 block of Robdioux Road (residence, home), Bessemer.

-Death investigation from the 300 block of Robdioux Road (residence, home), Bessemer.

-Identity theft from an unknown location. Charged on a debit card was $1,199.07.

-Domestic investigation from the 5100 block of Kirkwall Lane (residence, home).

-Harassing communications from the 0-100 block of Echo Lane (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Unauthorized use of a vehicle from the 1800 block of River Road (residence, home), Helena.

-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of McDaniel Drive (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Assault from the 200 block of Pool Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Domestic investigation from the 1200 block of Glaze Ferry Road (residence, home), Harpersville.

-Lost property from the Eagle Point subdivision (other, unknown). Lost was a Yamaha alto saxophone with accessories valued at $2,400.

-Assault from the 200 block of Pool Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Domestic violence – assault from the 200 block of Pool Road (residence, home), Shelby.

 

Oct. 29

-Burglary from the 7000 block of Highway 51 (residence, home), Sterrett. Stolen were a Zales Amethyst with diamond accent necklace valued at $125, a Zales Amethyst with diamond accent ring valued at $100, a Zales Amethyst with diamond accent earrings valued at $101 and a Kohl’s white gold ring with diamond accent valued at $337.50.

-Burglary from the 7000 block of Highway 51 (residence, home), Sterrett. Stolen were a gold necklace valued at $2,500, a pendant valued at $600, a black onyx with diamond gold ring valued at $500, a gold wedding band ring valued at $300 and a gold rope necklace valued at $500.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 3800 block of Bent River Road (residence, home).

-Domestic investigation from the 3400 block of Inverness Lane (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Dana Drive (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Criminal mischief and harassment from Chelsea Road (residence, home), Chelsea. A front door lock was damaged.

-Theft of property from the 0-100 block of Selma Street (residence, home). Stolen were two large truck batteries valued at $50, two orange extension cords valued at $30, brass fittings in a red container valued at $100 and two wheat lights valued at $20.

-Driving under the influence and minor in possession of alcohol from Inverness Parkway (highway, street), Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief from the 1000 block of Stafford Ct. (residence, home), Birmingham. Damage in the amount of $50 was done to a motion lamp.

-Leaving the scene of an accident from U.S. 280 at Brookhighland Parkway (highway, street), Birmingham. Damage in the amount of $1,000 was done to a black 2007 Cadillac DTS Luxury i.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 1100 block of Ashford Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Damaged was the front passenger’s side window on a blue 2004 Honda Accord. Stolen and recovered were an Aqua leather purse and two make-up bags.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 1000 block of Staffored Ct. (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a Dell Inspirion 5200 laptop computer. Stolen and recovered was a digital Pentax camera.

-Burglary from the 3000 block of Somerset Tr. (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were a silver bracelet valued at $200 and a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,000.

-Leaving the scene of an accident from U.S. 280 at Brookhighland Parkway (highway, street), Birmingham. Damage in the amount of $1,000 was done to a black 2006 Chevy Avalanche 4X.

 

Oct. 30

-Burglary and theft of property from the 2000 block of Somerset Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were a New England Firearms Pardner pump 12-gauge shotgun valued at $200, a Cannon digital camcorder valued at $500, a Compaq Presario laptop computer valued at $300, seven bottles of wine (Sutterhome and Yellowtail) valued at $50 and a blue duffel bag valued at $10.

-Assault from the 100 block of Echos Lane (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Domestic violence – harassment from Harbour Trail (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Harassment from the 0-100 block of Lucas Lane (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Harassment from the 0-100 block of Lucas Lane (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Theft of property from the 300 block of Highway 19 (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen was a silver and gold watch.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Idlewood Drive (residence, home), Wilton.

-Theft of property from the parking lot in front of the 800 building of Shoal Run Tr., Birmingham. Stolen were a Nexen 5000 205/60/16 tire valued at $125 and a Honda Accord factory rim valued at $200.

-Damage to property near the 3500 block of Chelsea Road (highway, street), Columbiana. Damage was done to the hood, front bumper and front grill of a silver 1996 Honda Accord.

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Mooney Road (residence, home), Columbiana. A Great Dane dog valued at $400 was stolen.

-Dog bite and allowing dogs to run at large from the 10000 block of County Road 55 (residence, home), Westover.

-Theft of property from the 600 block of Brothers Avenue (residence, home), Wilsonville. Stolen were a gold ring with black onyx stone with a “J” in the center valued at $200, a gold nugget bracelet valued at $1,500, a gold nugget necklace valued at $1,500, a gold nugget ring valued at $1,500, a gold ring with a dime in the middle valued at $200, a silver bracelet with 2ct blue diamonds valued at $2,000 and a gold two dollar bill valued at $200.

-Domestic violence – assault and criminal mischief from the 12000 block of Kenley Way (residence, home), Birmingham. A bedroom door was damaged.

-Domestic violence – harassing communication from the 3800 block of Bent River Road (residence, home), Hoover.

-Juvenile runaway from Dogwood Drive (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Theft of property from the 8000 block of Highway 51 (church), Westover. A red 2003 Chevy Tahoe valued at $10,000 was stolen.

 

Oct. 31

-Criminal mischief and theft of property from the 2200 block of U.S. 31 (residence, home), Calera. Damage in the amount of $2,000 was done to a 2-ton A/C unit, damage in the amount of $3,500 was done to a 4-ton A/C unit and damage in the amount of $3,000 was done to a 3-ton A/C unit. Stolen was an unknown amount of copper from those damaged units.

-Burglary from the 4000 block of Highway 18 (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen were a diamond plated truck tool box valued at $250, a diamond plated 100 gallon gas tank with electric pump valued at $350, four electric soenoids valued at $400, a 5-gallon metal tank valued at $100, four black hydraulic hoses valued at $100 and a red welder valued at $100.

-Miscellaneous information from 380 McDow Road (Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Jail), Columbiana.

-Theft of property from the 0-100 block of Wildflower Drive (residence, home), Maylene. Stolen were an Xbox 360 console with two controllers valued at $300 and various items of clothing valued at $300.

-Abandoned vehicle from the 9300 block of Highway 55 (highway, street), Westover.

-Domestic investigation from Joseph Drive (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Civil dispute from the 200 block of Hollybrook (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Allowing dogs to run at large from the 200 block of Hebb Road (residence, home), Wilsonville. Damage were 30 quail birds valued at $150.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from Nevinshire Place (residence, home), Birmingham. A Garmin GPS unit was stolen.

-Impersonating peace officer from the 4600 block of U.S. 280 (commercial), Birmingham.

-Domestic violence – harassment from Shoals Ct. (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 4900 block of Mountain View Parkway (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Property damage from the 5200 block of U.S. 280 (highway, street), Birmingham. Damaged was a 2008 EDCO brick and block saw.

 

Nov. 1

-Theft from the 5300 block of Mt. PK Road (residence, home), Indian Springs. Stolen were an antique oak hall tree valued at $600, two stove columns with glass tabletop valued at $700 and an oscillating heater valued at $200.

-Harassing communications from the 20000 block of Highway 55 (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Structure fire from the 500 block of Reynolds Road (residence, home), Vincent.

-Violation of protection order from the 2000 block of Chelsea Park Bend (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Property damage from the 1600 block of U.S. 280 (highway, street), Chelsea. Damaged were the passenger’s side headlight assembly and front fender on a gray 2006 Honda Accord.

-Domestic investigation from the 1200 block of Morning Sun Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Promoting prison contraband from 380 McDow Road (Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Jail), Columbiana. Recovered were four plastic bags containing smokeless tobacco.

-Suicide attempt from Triple G Drive and Highway 119 (highway, street), Alabaster.

-Miscellaneous information from the 900 block of Hebb Road (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Public intoxication from the 3100 block of Highway 37 (highway, street), Columbiana.

-Property damage from the 2500 block of U.S. 31 (highway, street), Calera. Damaged was the rear passenger’s side door on a white 2005 GMC Yukon.

-Alien enter/attempt business transaction with state from the 900 block of 2nd Avenue SW (residence, home), Alabaster.

-Domestic violence III – menacing from Glaze Ferry Road (residence, home), Harpersville.

-Death investigation from the 2300 block of Highway 50 (residence, home), Vandiver.

-Forgery II from the 100 block of Oakmont Road (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from the 6000 block of Brookhill Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a Garmin GPS unit with cable.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from the 6000 block of Brookhill Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were a Garmin GPS unit, assorted CDs and DVDs and a silver I-Pod with cable.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Inverness Landing (storage facility), Birmingham. Stolen were recovered were a golf cart valued at $2,500 and tools valued at $500. Stolen was a skill saw valued at $50.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 14000 block of Kenley Way (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Burglary from the 1700 block of U.S. 31 (other, unknown), Calera. A window was damaged. Stolen was approximately $500 in U.S. currency.

 

Nov. 2

-Found property from the 1000 block of Highway 204 (field, woods), Montevallo. Recovered was a brown leather wallet containing cash, debit cards, credit cards and a driver’s license.

-Theft of property and receiving stolen property from Joseph Drive (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen and recovered was $310 in U.S. currency.

-Miscellaneous information from 380 McDow Road (Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Jail), Columbiana.

-Property damage from the 3300 block of Highway 61 (residence, home), Wilsonville. Damaged were 50 feet of livestock fencing valued at $100 and two mature fruit trees (one plum, one apple) valued at $400.

-Property damage from the 5200 block of County Road 39 (highway, street), Chelsea. Damage in the amount of $2,600 was done to the right front quarter panel, left front quarter panel, front bumper, left headlight and hood on a black 2006 Chevy 300 LTD.

-Miscellaneous information from the 3000 block of Cahaba Beach Road (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Community notification violation from the 100 block of Vantana Drive (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Property damage from the 100 block of Valentine Trail (residence, home), Wilsonville. Damage in the amount of $35 was done to a door knob on a front exterior door.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 2000 block of Smokey Road (residence, home), Alabaster. Stolen were two Remington pellet guns valued at $50, two electric dog collars valued at $200, a black go-cart valued at $100 and a blue and black Yamaha 300cc 4-wheeler.
