Officials at Pelham’s Linda Nolen Learning Center are looking for the families of eight LNLC students who are being remembered in the school’s new memory garden.

When completed in a few months, the garden will honor the memories of 19 LNLC students who have passed away since the school’s inception.

School officials are working to plan a dedication ceremony for the garden in the spring, and are contacting the families of the students who will be memorialized in the garden.

School secretary Cecelia Woods said she has been able to contact the families of many of the students who will be remembered, but is looking for contact information for the remaining eight.

“We want to invite all the parents to be a part of the dedication,” Woods said.

The school is looking to contact the families of Jimmy Roper, Marshall Skelton, Natalie McKeever, Jay Mckinney, Jimbo Middleton, Nicole Brasher, Erin Slaybauch and Joseph Humphrey.

Families or anyone with contact information for the families are encouraged to call the school at 682-5800.
