Clara Ann Kelley Abbott, 73, of Harpersville passed away Nov. 15, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Pell City. Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Funeral services will take place at the chapel at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 with Elder Phillip Duke and Rev. William Rayfield officiating. Burial will take place in the Harpersville Cemetery.

Mrs. Abbott is surived by her husband, Ronald Abbott of Harpersville; son, Michael Abernathy (Jamie) of Vincent; daughters, Gloria Hawk (Jerry) of Vincent and Sandra Mann of Gardendale; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and stepsons, Kevin Abbott (Deborah) of Tuscaloosa and Keith Abbott (Tiny) of Tuscaloosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Frances Harris. She was a great and loving mother, MaMa and wife.
