The Shelby County High School boys’ basketball team defeated Tarrant 47-29 in coach Torri Brown’s debut with the Wildcats in high school basketball action Nov. 17.

Tyler Madison led Shelby County (1-0) with 17 points in the victory.

Brandon McKinney added 12 points for the Wildcats.
