Graveside services for Willie “Pert” Johnson, age 74, were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at Old Cypress Cemetery in Deridder, La. with Brother Bruce Butts officiating.

Mr. Johnson passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 in Mobile.

He was born on July 11, 1937, in Birmingham, the son of the late Walter and Lallage Mooney Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his sister, Betty Johnson Cooley of Deridder, La.; brother, Harold Johnson, and wife Shirley of Huntsville; and sister-in-law, Nancy Johnson of Montevallo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles D. Johnson of Huntsville.
