The Evangel Christian School girls’ basketball team improved its record on the season to 2-1 with a 43-23 win over Tabernacle Christian of Gardendale on Nov. 21.

Rainey Ketcham had a triple-double to lead the Lightning to the non-conference win, scoring 15 points, pulling down 14 rebounds and adding 10 steals.

Whitney Thorpe had 13 points. Lacey Entrekin finished with 10 rebounds for Evangel.
