The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Evangel Christian Academy 81-60 in high school basketball action Nov. 21.

Daniel Fillingim led the Lions with 30 points and 12 rebounds.

Jordan Vance added seven points. Landon Davenport chipped in six points and four boards. Charles Robinson, Tyler Harrell and Logan Beam finished with four points each.

Josh Purvis chipped in three points. Jacob Bussey finished with two points and 12 rebounds.

GIRLS

The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Evangel Christian Academy 41-31 in high school basketball action Nov. 21.

Casey Whitmer and Blair Holsombeck led the Lions with 11 points each. Whitmer also grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds.
