The University of Montevallo women’s basketball team defeated Miles College 54-45 to capture its fourth win of the season Nov. 22.

Sophomore Alex Strickland led the Falcons (4-1) with 10 points, while senior Taylor Welch added nine points.

Senior Davia Harris was third on the team with eight points, while also adding seven boards. Senior Shavonne Seymore led the team with eight boards, while junior Zena Nasiloski added seven rebounds.

The Falcons will return to action Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. as they travel to the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
