Frankie D. Hope,  age 44, a resident of Shelby, died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Shelby. A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at FBC-Shelby. 

Mr. Hope is survived by his wife, Tommie Hope; children, Kelley Hope (John Thomas Pettis), Adam Hope, Caleb Hope and Ashlin Hope; granddaughters, Kaylynn Hope and Addison Pettis;  parents, Jimmy Wayne and Brenda Hope; mother-in-law, Yolie Willis; sister, Brandy  Rowland (Brad); niece, Courtney Rowland; and other family and friends.
