The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated East Memorial Christian Academy 42-33 in high school basketball action Nov. 29.

Katie Etheridge and Madelyn Pearce led the Lions (3-3) with 11 points each. Etheridge grabbed seven rebounds, while Pearce finished with five boards.

Casey Whitmer contributed eight points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

BOYS

The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated East Memorial Christian Academy 51-48 in high school basketball action Nov. 29.

Daniel Fillingim led the Lions with 24 points in the victory. Fillingim also grabbed a team-high 16 rebounds.
