The Coosa Valley Academy girls’ basketball team defeated Tuscaloosa Academy 29-19 in high school basketball action Nov. 29.

Kaylan Rich led the Rebels (2-1) with 17 points in the victory. Rich also finished with a team-high 12 rebounds, six steals and three blocked shots.

Lauren Archer added 10 points, six rebounds, five steals and two assists. Terrie Sprayberry registered two points and two rebounds.

Amelia Ripley finished with four rebounds and three assists. Amber Bassett chipped in three rebounds and one assist. Samantha Baker had one rebound, one assist and one steal in the win.
