The Hope Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to East Central 57-51 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Brandon Fuller led the Eagles with 14 points in the loss. Fuller also dished out four assists.

Pete Thomason added 13 points and a team-high six assists. Cameron Costa chipped in 10 points and three rebounds.

Seth Burham finished with six points and a team-high six boards. Immanuel Drew added three points and four rebounds. Benjamin Bunn and Josh Wells finished with two points each. Caleb Booker finished with one point and two rebounds.

GIRLS

The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated East Central 33-27 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Brooke Machen led the Eagles with 12 points in the victory. Machen also grabbed four rebounds and finished with a team-high seven steals.

Karlee Tate and Christina Jones, who grabbed a team-high eight boards, finished with seven points each.

Leigh Wilson Legg added five points. Joelle Reed contributed two points and four rebounds.
