The Coosa Valley Academy girls’ basketball team defeated Edgewood Academy 49-34 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Lauren Archer led the Rebels (3-2) with 22 points in the victory. Archer also grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Terrie Sprayberry also recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.
