Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife of 66 years, Evelyn McClinton Reynolds of Vincent; daughters, Glenda Vick (Bill) of Wilsonville and Janice Jacobs (Roger) of Vincent; grandchildren, Dana Davis, Darla Howell (Jim), Daren Vick (Kathy) and Brandon Salser (Cindy); and great-grandchildren, Christopher Griffin (Joni), Lauren Davis, Caleb Vick, Cory Vick, Chloe Vick, Jessica Howell, Hannah Salser and Caiden Salser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Jenny May Reynolds; brothers, Frazer and Oliver Reynolds; sisters, Jewel Walker, Juanita Justice, Ruth Wiley Justice and twin sister Bernice Portier; and daughter, Bonnie Reynolds Sims.

He was a native of Georgia. He served honorably during World War II in the U.S. Army. After being discharged, this Georgia boy made his way to Vincent to finally meet the lovely young lady that he had been corresponding with for over a year to ask for her hand in marriage. A love story that lasted 66 years. He was employed with U.S. Steel in Fairfiled and retired after 33 years of service with the company. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball.

We will always be blessed by the presence of this wonderful man in our lives, and we will hold the memories he left and the stories he shared forever in our hearts and minds.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Salser, Darren Vick, Caleb Vick, Cory Vick, Larry Littlefield and Anthony Taylor.

Condolences may be offered at Curtisandsonfunerals.com. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct.
