The 2011 Shelby County boys’ and girls’ basketball tournament will be held Dec. 16-20.

The first round of games Dec. 16 will be played at Calera High School. All games Dec. 17-20 will be played at BankTrust Arena on the University of Montevallo campus.

Shelby County will meet Montevallo and Chelsea will face Westminster in the opening round of the boys’ tournament Dec. 16. Pelham will face Vincent, Briarwood will take on Oak Mountain, while Thompson will face the Chelsea/Westminster winner and Calera will meet the Shelby County/Montevallo winner on Dec. 17.

The boys’ semifinal games are schedule for Dec. 19. The championship and consolation games will be held Dec. 20.

Vincent will face Montevallo and Pelham will take on Chelsea in the opening round of the girls’ tournament Dec. 16.

Briarwood will meet Calera and Thompson will face Shelby County, while Oak Mountain will face the Vincent/Montevallo on Dec. 17.

The girls’ semifinal games are scheduled for Dec. 19. The championship and consolation games will be held Dec. 20.

Daily admission is $6 for adults and children.
