Jaguars split wrestling matches

The Spain Park High School wrestling team split a pair of matches Dec. 13.
The Jaguars defeated Brookwood 48-36. Eight Spain Park wrestlers won individual matches against Brookwood.
Elijah Krukowski of Spain Park pinned T. Hollingsworth of Brookwood in 1:12 in the 106-pound match. Tommy Bostany of Spain Park won his 120-pound match by forfeit.
Eric Russell of Spain Park won his 132-pound match by forfeit. Kevin McClure of Spain Park won his 160-pound match by forfeit.
Dillon Osborne of Spain Park pinned Robert Lee of Brookwood in 3:33 in the 170-pound match. Kameron Ricks of Spain Park pinned Jaymain Hughes of Brookwood in 3:00 in the 195-pound match.
Mo Mills of Spain Park pinned Houston Thompson of Brookwood in 1:28 in the 220-pound match. Zachary Williams of Spain Park pinned Charley Hallman of Brookwood in 56 seconds in the heavyweight match.
Spain Park fell to Tuscaloosa County 53-27. Five Jaguars won individual matches against Tuscaloosa County.
Krukowski won his 106-pound match by forfeit. Bostany earned a 9-5 decision over Sol Archibald of Tuscaloosa County in the 120-pound match.
Leon Strong of Spain Park pinned Elliott Smith of Tuscaloosa County in 53 seconds in the 145-pound match. Ricks pinned Brian Brown of Tuscaloosa County in 1:47 in the 195-pound match.
Mills pinned Hunter Jenkins of Tuscaloosa County in 1:15 in the 220-pound match.
