The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to East Memorial Christian Academy 60-43 in high school basketball action Dec. 13.

Josh Purvis led the Lions with 18 points.

Daniel Fillingim added nine points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Andrew Whitfield and Vance Jordan chipped in six points each.

John Fillingim and Jacob Bussey contributed two points each.

GIRLS

The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to East Memorial Christian Academy 27-22 in high school basketball action Dec. 13.

Blair Holsombeck and Casey Whitmer led the Lions with eight points each. Whitmer also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

Madelyn Pearce and Sarah Salmon chipped in three points each.
