The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team defeated Victory Christian in Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 action Dec. 15.

Brooklyn Jones led the Yellow Jackets with 16 points in the victory. Jones also finished with a team-high eight steals.

Pam Mann added 11 points and a team-high 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Arkel Kelley and Taj Youngblood chipped in eight points each.

BOYS

The Vincent High School boys’ basketball team defeated Victory Christian 74-27 in Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 action Dec. 15.

Dontravious Moon led the Yellow Jackets (8-3 overall, 3-0 in Class 2A, Area 10) with 17 points in the victory.

Demauntey Johnson and Marquis Tolbert added 16 points each. Jamal McCrimon finished with 13 points in the win.
