The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team edged Shelby County 52-42 in the Shelby County tournament quarterfinals Dec. 17.

Rachel Lawley led the Warriors with 16 points in the victory.

KaDeisha Stowes added 10 points. Hannah Oglesby contributed eight points. Kat Cingoranelli and Kierra Petway finished with six points each.
