The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team fell to Bessemer City 48-41 in the consolation game of the Big Orange Classic tournament Dec. 22 at Hoover High School.

Jasmine Hollis led the Jaguars (8-7) with 15 points. Hollis, who finished 4-of-5 from the floor, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, also grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Hollis hit 5-of-6 free throws.

Whitney Gulledge added 13 points and six rebounds. Victoria Baldwin chipped in six points and 13 boards.

Jasmine Moore finished with three points and two rebounds. Kathryn Boswell and Takia Mickens finished with two points each.
