The Pelham Beautification Board recently selected the city’s most well-decorated Christmas displays after touring the city on Dec. 6.

Each year, the Beautification Board tours the city to look for the best-decorated residence, business and fire station. The board also awards one residence its “Power Express” distinction, recognizing a house for decorating above and beyond the average Christmas display.

This year’s residential decorations winner was 110 Emerald Lake Drive, which is off Shelby County 25 near the entrance to Oak Mountain State Park.

Cakes Las Comadres, which is off U.S. 31 near its intersection with Chandalar Drive, won the city’s business decorating contest.

Pelham Fire Station No. 3, which is off Shelby County 52 East near Huntley Parkway, took home the city’s top station decorating honors.
