Spain Park drops tournament opener in Florida

The Spain Park High School boys’ basketball team fell to Southwind High School (Fla.) 80-60 in its opening game Dec. 27 at the Fort Walton (Fla.) tournament.

Rembert Martin led the Jaguars (10-6) with 18 points. Martin drained 8-of-13 shots from the floor, including 6-of-9 attempts from beyond the arc.

Robby Prater added 12 points, three rebounds and three assists. Deion Wright chipped in eight points and six rebounds. Eric Washington contributed six points.

Blake Duchock and Austin Jones finished with five points and three rebounds each. Brandon Miller contributed four points. Jonathon Troulias finished with two points and five rebounds.
