Calera edges Francis Marion

The Calera High School boys’ basketball team closed out its Champion Sports Medicine Shootout round-robin event undefeated after topping Francis Marion 74-71 in its finale Dec. 29.

Howard Morris and Jeremy Hyde led the Eagles (15-2) with 12 points each in the victory.

Ronnie Clark, Jordan Bishop and Titus Adams contributed 10 points each in the win.
