The Montevallo High School girls’ basketball team fell to Fort Payne 56-16 in its opening game of the Hoops for Hope tournament Dec. 29 in Chelsea.

Kiah Smith led the Bulldogs (6-6) with seven points. Smith also grabbed four rebounds.
