Calera falls to John Carroll in tournament

The Calera High School girls’ basketball team fell to John Carroll Catholic 63-54 in the Hoops for Hope tournament Dec. 31 at Chelsea.
Tyesha Haynes led the Eagles with a game-high 26 points.
A’Kia Harris posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
