The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Restoration Academy 48-46 in high school basketball action Jan. 2.

Jordan Vance led the Lions (5-7) with 16 points.

Josh Purvis added 11 points. Andrew Whitfield chipped in nine points.

Tyler Harrell and Daniel Fillingim finished with four points each. Charles Robinson contributed two points.

GIRLS

The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Restoration Academy 44-38 in high school basketball action Jan. 2.

Blair Holsombeck led the Lions (3-9) with 19 points.

Casey Whitmer added 10 points. Katie Etheridge contributed nine points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
