The Evangel Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated the Tuscaloosa Home Educators 67-27 in high school basketball action Jan. 3.

Adam Gurley led the Lightning (10-1) with a game-high 21 points in the victory.

Dajon Townson added 17 points. Aaron Walker chipped in 11 points.

Judson Mote contributed 10 points in the win.
