The Oak Mountain High School girls’ basketball team defeated Benjamin Russell 39-27 in high school basketball action Jan. 5.

Madison Pierce led the Eagles (13-5) with a game-high 11 points in the victory.

Mackenzie Garmany added nine points in the win.
