Janie C. Wilson, age 84, a resident of Jemison, died on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera with Rev. James Nichols officiating. Visitation will be 12:30–2 p.m. prior to the service at Bolton Funeral Home-Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera.

Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Fred Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Stricklin and Freddie Goggins (Charlie); grandchildren, Chris Stricklin (Terri), Barkely Johnstone (Kelly), Barbie Johnstone, Amy Shirey(Kevin) and Beth Goggins; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Bethany, Maddie, Kattie, Aubree, Rileigh, Andy and Weslie; sisters, Jean Nichols (Walton); Joyce Lumpkin and Lois Wilborn; brother, Carl Vance (Eunice); and other family and friends.
