The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Prattville Christian 69-29 in high school basketball action Jan. 7.

Daniel Fillingim led the Lions (5-9) with nine points.

Jacob Bussey added seven points. Logan Bean chipped in three points.

Josh Purvis and Charles Robinson contributed two points each. Jordan Vance finished with one point.

GIRLS

The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Prattville Christian 40-38 in high school basketball action Jan. 7.

Katie Etheridge led the Lions (3-11) with 11 points. Etheridge also grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Madelyn Pearce added nine points. Kenzie Greer chipped in eight points and five rebounds.

Blair Holsombeck contributed six points and four steals. Casey Whitmey finished with four points and eight rebounds.
