The Hope Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Evangel Family Christian Academy 68-43 in an Alabama Christian Sports Conference contest Jan. 10.

Immanuel Drew led the Eagles (3-8) with 16 points. Drew also grabbed five rebounds.

Brandon Fuller added 10 points and five boards. Pete Thomason contributed eight points to go along with a team-high nine rebounds and four assists.

Cameron Costa chipped in four points. Seth Burnham contributed three points and five rebounds. Caleb Booker finished with two points and five rebounds.

Brandon Hawkins and Benjamin Bunn grabbed two rebounds each.

GIRLS

The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Evangel Family Christian Academy 37-33 in an Alabama Christian Sports Conference contest Jan. 10.

Christina Jones led the Eagles (7-5) with 12 points. Jones also grabbed two rebounds and finished with four steals.

Brooke Machen added nine points, three rebounds and five steals. Davina Drew chipped in six points, four rebounds and two steals.

Erin Douglas and Rachel Rettig contributed two points and five rebounds each. Rachel Holmes and Karlee Tate finished with one point each. Holmes grabbed five rebounds, while Tate finished with two steals and two assists.
